Alix Smith
The success of a construction project often comes down to the details. It’s up to Alix as a member of Martin Simmons Sweers to ensure no details are missed when it comes to translating the design vision to the product delivered by the contractor. The process of creating amazing buildings has always inspired Alix. She says, “I’ve always been inspired by architecture documentaries where you can see the design and construction process of influential buildings around the world. It made me want to be a part of that conversation.”

Alix isn’t intimidated by coordinating large-scale contracts, trades, and change orders, using her experience and meticulous organization to ensure no task or date is missed. No matter the assignment, Alix is focused on moving the project forward and all the sub-trades appreciate her timely response to questions and issues. Alix’s hobbies include photography with her Instax Mini camera, dancing, and practicing yoga. In the past year, Alix has developed an interest in growing vegetables and baking.
